Aurora Hoff declared personally bankrupt over tax debt

Influencer Aurora Hoff has been declared personally bankrupt by the Oslo District Court following a claim from the Norwegian Tax Administration. The debt, totaling 558,060 NOK, consists of unpaid value-added tax (VAT) related to her sole proprietorship.

Hoff has acknowledged the full amount of the debt. She attributed the financial situation to a lack of sufficient knowledge regarding the economic management of her business during periods of high turnover. She stated that managing the situation has been difficult but expressed her intention to work toward paying down the debt.

Hoff, who has over 100,000 followers on Instagram and was a winner of the ‘Role Model of the Year’ award at the 2024 Vixen Awards, noted that discussing financial difficulties is a challenge many face. The bankruptcy proceedings are currently in the initial stages under the supervision of administrator Egil Hatling.
