Aurora man arrested after attempting to board Disney Cruise Line

A man previously arrested in an Aurora, Colorado, child predator investigation has been taken back into custody after allegedly attempting to board a Disney Cruise Line ship while out on bond.

The incident follows a multi-agency sting operation known as ‘Operation SAFE Kids’ (Stopping Adults From Exploiting Kids), which involved undercover detectives using personas of minors to target online predators. The operation, which began planning in May and active undercover work in mid-August, resulted in 13 arrests involving local, state, and federal agencies.

While the interception occurred before the individual could sail, specific details regarding the departure port, the vessel involved, or the exact mechanism used to identify the suspect during the boarding process have not been confirmed.
