Aurubis and Brenntag post strong earnings, lift 2026 guidance

Aurubis AG reported a 31% increase in operating earnings before taxes (EBT) to €374 million for the first nine months of fiscal year 2025/26, with operating EBITDA reaching €570 million. The company raised its full‑year outlook to the upper end of its current forecast range, citing higher metal prices, stronger sulfuric acid sales and growing recycling revenues. Strategic projects highlighted include the start‑up of a world‑first recycling plant in Hamburg, the ramp‑up of the Aurubis Richmond facility and the commissioning of a tankhouse expansion in Bulgaria. CEO Dr. Toralf Haag said the multimetal business is delivering reliable performance despite a demanding market.

Brenntag SE announced an upward revision of its operating EBITDA guidance for fiscal year 2026 to a range of €1.35‑1.45 billion, up from €1.25‑1.40 billion, after a strong start to the third quarter and solid second‑quarter earnings. The company will publish its half‑year financial report on 12 August 2026.
