Aurum Resources advances Boundiali gold project in Côte d’Ivoire
Aurum Resources has announced significant progress at its flagship Boundiali gold project in northern Côte d’Ivoire, involving both substantial capital raising and high-grade drilling results.
The Australian company has secured firm commitments for a 52.5 million Australian dollar (approximately 37 million USD) capital raise through the issuance of 95.45 million new shares. This funding is intended to accelerate preparatory works, including the acquisition of land for a processing plant and tailings dam, road construction, and continued drilling, ahead of a final feasibility study.
Simultaneously, recent diamond drilling at the BST1 target has yielded high-grade intercepts, including a 1.3-metre section at 155g/t gold and a 24-metre interval at 6.31g/t gold. These results are part of an expanded 150,000-metre drilling campaign for 2026 aimed at expanding the project’s existing 3.22-million-ounce resource. The new data will inform a resource update scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.
