Aurum Resources discovers high-grade gold near Boundiali project

Aurum Resources has reported high-grade gold intercepts, including bonanza hits, located just outside the boundaries of its 3.22-million-ounce Boundiali gold project in Côte d’Ivoire.

The results stem from a 100,000-metre diamond drilling campaign, with recent assays covering 12,251 metres across 60 drill holes at the BMT1 deposit and BMT2 prospect. Notable findings at the BMT2 prospect include a 2.38-metre intercept grading 22.01 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, which contained a 1-metre core at 51.38g/t gold. Other significant hits include a 1.5-metre section at 41.78g/t gold.

Because the BMT2 prospect currently sits outside the project’s defined resource, the discovery suggests a new zone of mineralisation that could expand the existing resource base. Managing director Dr. Caigen Wang stated that the results reinforce the project’s growth in scale and confidence.
