Aurzen Zip Pro portable projector features foldable design
Aurzen has introduced the Zip Pro, a second-generation portable projector featuring a unique three-part Z-shaped folding design. This compact device, weighing 586 grams, is designed to fit in a pocket and can act as its own stand to tilt images toward walls or ceilings.
Technical upgrades from its predecessor include a jump to native Full HD 1080p resolution and a doubling of brightness to 200 ANSI lumens. The projector utilizes a 10.7 mm DLP optical engine and supports various wireless protocols such as AirPlay, Miracast, Google Cast, and DLNA. It also features a touchscreen on its casing for easier handling.
Connectivity options include two USB-C ports, one of which supports video input via DP Alt Mode, allowing devices like the Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, or mobile phones to connect without a dock. For gaming, the device offers a low latency of between 20 and 40 milliseconds in game mode. While it includes two 2-watt speakers, the battery life is rated at under three hours, and the brightest mode requires AC power.
