Auser expands support for caregivers and elderly via new services

The volunteer association Auser is expanding its support services for elderly citizens and their caregivers through new community and digital initiatives in Italy.

In Ome, Brescia, Auser Insieme has launched a free support group for caregivers. Led by psychologist Maria Teresa Nulli, the group aims to address the emotional burdens faced by those caring for sick or elderly relatives, including feelings of guilt, anger, and isolation. The initiative follows the success of the 'Casa dei caregiver' project and seeks to provide a space for sharing practical information and emotional support.

In Lecco, Auser has introduced 'Il mio Auser', a new web application designed to streamline access to its services. Presented by President Claudio Dossi, the app allows users to request various assistance services—such as transport to medical facilities or companionship calls for those over 65—directly from a smartphone. The platform connects users to Auser’s scheduling system, enabling operators to organize and confirm requests more efficiently.
