Austin Creed discusses AEW move and future gaming projects

Austin Creed, formerly known as Xavier Woods in WWE, has discussed his transition to AEW and his future in digital content creation. Following his departure from WWE, where he helped lead the UpUpDownDown YouTube gaming channel to over 2.4 million subscribers, Creed expressed confidence in his ability to build new creative projects. He hinted at the possibility of reuniting with former teammates from ‘Da Party’—including Adam Cole, Claudio Castagnoli, and Tyler Breeze—noting that since none of them are currently under WWE contract, a new collaboration may be more feasible.

Creed also addressed the personal toll of his long career, admitting he experienced significant burnout during his final years with WWE. After 23 years of constant travel and work, he took a three-month hiatus to spend time with his children and establish a healthier work-life balance. He noted that the break allowed him to reflect on his career and the necessity of managing his physical and mental well-being while continuing to pursue his professional goals.
