Austin Gunn reveals bowel accident during AEW All Out 2023 match

AEW wrestler Austin Gunn revealed during an appearance on the ‘What Happened When’ podcast that he experienced a bowel accident during an eight-man tag team match at AEW All Out 2023. Gunn stated that stomach issues reached a breaking point during the match, specifically following a superplex and a 450 splash. He noted that the situation was severe enough that he believed he had to discard the ring gear used during the bout.

During the podcast, Austin Gunn and his brother Colten Gunn also discussed various professional wrestling topics. Colten Gunn provided an update on his recovery from a patella tear, noting that while the initial recovery estimate was nine to twelve months, strict physical therapy allowed him to resume ring practice within five to seven months.
