Austin Peay State University athletics prepare for tournament and season finales

Austin Peay State University (APSU) athletics are entering key phases of their nonconference schedules. The APSU volleyball team recently secured a 3-0 sweep against Tennessee State, highlighted by Reagan Anderson’s four service aces and Brooklynn Merrell’s 18 assists. The team is now preparing to host the Governors Classic tournament at the Winfield Dunn Center, featuring matches against Gardner-Webb, SIU Edwardsville, and Southern Illinois.

In soccer, the APSU team is set to face Jackson State in its nonconference finale following a 1-0 victory over UT Martin. Meanwhile, the University of Tennessee at Martin Skyhawks are scheduled to host Jacksonville State this Sunday to conclude their nonconference play, seeking to break a three-game losing streak.
