Austin Tye scores seven goals in Harlan County victory

Austin Tye scored a single-game record seven goals to lead Harlan County High School to a 10-3 boys soccer victory over Middlesboro. The win secures the top seed for the Black Bears in the upcoming 50th District tournament.

Tye’s performance included three goals scored within a 90-second span and four additional goals in the second half, breaking a previous school record. Coach David Day credited the team's collective effort and passing for the high score.
