Austral Construcciones Lázaro Báez judicial auctions asset seizure bankruptcy

Assets belonging to Austral Construcciones SA, the firm owned by convicted businessman Lázaro Báez, are being auctioned through the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation’s online judicial auction website.

The auction is part of the bankruptcy proceedings for the construction company, which is being handled by the National Commercial Court 28. The items for sale include six Chevrolet S10 trucks with base prices starting at $2,200,000, a Mercedes Benz Sprinter starting at $5,100,000, and a Renault Master priced at $7,200,000. Additionally, 11 Tecnimet modules used as roadside work sheds are being auctioned in two separate lots.

The goods are currently held by the Air Force. The online auction platform was established by the Supreme Court in 2025 to increase transparency, expand access, and ensure bidder anonymity across the country.
