Australia completes ODI series sweep against Zimbabwe
Australia has completed a 3-0 ODI series sweep against Zimbabwe. The series concluded with a dramatic one-wicket victory in the final match at Harare Sports Club, where Nathan Ellis and Spencer Johnson secured the win with one ball to spare.
In the deciding game, Zimbabwe posted 271/8, led by an unbeaten 81 from Sikandar Raza and half-centuries from Craig Ervine and Innocent Kaia. Australia's chase was anchored by a century from Josh Inglis, but the team faced a tense finish after losing wickets late in the innings. Nathan Ellis contributed significantly with both bat and ball, finishing with 3/50 and an unbeaten 36.
Earlier in the series, Adam Zampa reached a major milestone by becoming only the second Australian spinner to claim 200 ODI wickets, surpassing Shane Warne as Australia's fastest spinner to reach the mark.
