Australia confirms 29 training venues for Rugby World Cup 2027

Organizers of the Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 have officially unveiled 29 elite outdoor training venues across Australia. These facilities will support the 24 participating national teams during the tournament.

The training sites are distributed across seven host cities: Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney, and Townsville. The selection includes a variety of high-performance environments such as rugby clubs, universities, schools, stadiums, and specialized sports centers. Notable locations include the National Rugby Training Centre in Brisbane and the South Australian Sports Institute.

During the group stages, teams will have exclusive access to dedicated bases in their respective match cities. To increase community engagement, some training sessions may be open to the public. Chris Stanley, managing director of the tournament, stated that these venues are critical to ensuring an extraordinary experience for the participating teams and highlighting the quality of Australia's high-performance infrastructure.
