Australia hosts nearly 30 motorsport events this weekend

August concludes as one of the busiest months on the Motorsport Australia calendar, with nearly 30 events scheduled across the country this weekend. The scheduled activities span various disciplines, including circuit racing, rallying, hillclimbs, khanacross, motorkhana, supersprints, and autocross.

Queensland hosts the largest number of events with eight scheduled, including the TGRA Scholarship Series at Queensland Raceway, the Ingham Toyota Forest Rally, and the Queensland Motorkhana Championship. New South Wales features seven events, highlighted by the APEX STEEL 2026 Australian Muscle Car Masters at Sydney Motorsport Park and the Historic Hillclimb at Mountain View Motorsport Complex.

Other regional activity includes the SDMA Tri-Series Hillclimb in the Australian Capital Territory, the MSS Safety Rally Barossa in South Australia, and the VIOLA Private Wealth Winton 300 in Victoria. Additional events are also slated for the Northern Territory and Tasmania.
