Australia names track cyclists and basketball squads for Glasgow Commonwealth Games

Australia has announced its athletes for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Track cyclists Georgia Baker, a three‑time Games competitor and double gold‑medalist from the 2022 edition, will return alongside 20‑year‑old debutant Felicity Wilson‑Haffenden, completing a 25‑person track team.

The Australian 3×3 basketball contingent also received its final roster. Sixteen players will compete across four squads – men’s and women’s teams (the "Gangurrus") and men’s and women’s wheelchair teams (the "Wombats"). The lineup features 12 debutants, the youngest Ebony Stevenson, and veteran Jesse Wagstaff, 40, who will make his third Commonwealth Games appearance. Athletes hail from all Australian states, with Western Australia providing the most representatives.
