Australia Post CEO Paul Graham to retire
Paul Graham, the CEO and Managing Director of Australia Post, has announced his intention to retire at the end of the current financial year. Graham has led the government-owned company for more than five years.
Australia Post Chair Siobhan McKenna credited Graham with navigating an “unprecedented” period of change and implementing the ‘Post26 Strategy’ alongside the ‘Post30’ modernization plan. These initiatives aimed to strengthen the company’s role in the e-commerce economy and ensure long-term sustainability without requiring government funding.
The Australia Post board has initiated a search for a successor, considering both internal and external candidates. Graham stated he will focus on maintaining operations and ensuring a smooth leadership handover during his remaining tenure.
