Australia sends 15 runners to World Road Running Championships

Fifteen Australian distance runners will compete in the World Athletics Road Running Championships in Copenhagen this weekend. The event features three disciplines: the One Mile, 5km, and Half Marathon.

In the Men’s Half Marathon, Haftu Strintzos leads the Australian contingent, following a year that included a national marathon record. He is joined by Jack Rayner, Edward Marks, and Liam Boudin. The Women’s Half Marathon team includes Ruby Smee, Rebecca Lowe, and Donve Viljoen.

The Women’s Mile will feature Linden Hall and Sarah Billings, while the Men’s Mile will include Oliver Hoare and Jude Thomas.
