Australia serves as filming location for Southern California-set production

A film production set in a fictional Southern California spa resort was filmed on location in Australia. The cast, including Isla Fisher, utilized the Gold Coast to double for the beaches and landscapes of Southern California.

Despite the film's setting, the cast members noted that filming in a shared location helped build strong chemistry and connections within the ensemble. The group maintained close ties through shared activities and social gatherings during the production process.
