Australia Sixaroos advance to Socca World Cup knockouts

Australia’s national six-a-side football team, the Sixaroos, has advanced to the knockout stage of the 2026 Socca World Cup in Germany. Coached by former professional footballer Kevin-Prince Boateng, the team secured a 5-1 victory over Libya to finish second in Group E.

Joe Guest led the scoring with two goals, while Sam Young, Shev Adeli, and Ethan De Melo also contributed to the win. The Sixaroos, making their third appearance in the tournament, will now face either Morocco or Kosovo in the next phase.
