Australian dancers achieve significant career milestones

Two Australian dancers have achieved significant milestones in their performing arts careers.

Thalia Smith, a professional dancer from Dubbo, has secured a lead role as Nini in the upcoming 2027 Australian production of ‘Moulin Rouge! The Musical’. After ten years of professional dancing, this marks her first major role.

In Launceston, 11-year-old Esther Cassidy has been selected to attend a week-long training program hosted by the Australian Ballet School. Cassidy, who trains at the Dance Pointe Academy, was chosen from a pool of applicants across the country.
