Australian Darts Masters to begin in Wollongong

The 2026 Australian Darts Masters is scheduled to begin on Friday, August 21, at the WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong. Serving as the final stop of the 2026 PDC World Series of Darts, the event features sixteen players: eight from the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) field and eight leading qualifiers from the Oceanic region.

This year marks the first time the winner will lift the Kyle Anderson Trophy, which was renamed to honor the late Kyle Anderson, the first Indigenous Australian professional darts player on the global tour. The seeded PDC players include Gian van Veen, Gerwyn Price, Stephen Bunting, James Wade, Jonny Clayton, Josh Rock, Ross Smith, and Damon Heta. The Oceanic qualifiers feature Simon Whitlock, a two-time World Championship finalist, alongside seven other regional players.

The tournament will be broadcast live on Fox Sports and streamed via Kayo Sports.
