Australian farms Yarronvale and Gillenbah slated for September auctions

The 32,140‑hectare (79,420‑acre) Yarronvale grazing property in the Cooladdi district of southwest Queensland, owned by the Taylor family, is scheduled for auction on September 9. The sale includes the freehold land, a five‑bedroom homestead, cattle and sheep yards, a shearing shed, and equipment such as a Caterpillar D7 bulldozer and grader. Yarronvale also generates income from a four‑year carbon project and has water supplied by the Paroo River, a bore and multiple dams.

The 2,806‑hectare (6,934‑acre) Gillenbah Aggregation in New South Wales, comprising Gillenbah and Eurolibah Stations on the Murrumbidgee River floodplain, is on the market with expressions of interest due September 10. The property features 656 ha of laser‑levelled flood irrigation, substantial water entitlements—including 1,944 ML of general security water and additional groundwater supplies—plus infrastructure such as a pump station, bores, sheds and a shearing complex. Development potential includes expanding irrigation to an extra 1,087 ha for horticulture or other uses.
