Australian Firefighters Calendar 2027 released for charity

The 2027 edition of the Australian Firefighters Calendar has been released, marking its 34th year of production. Originally established in 1993 to fund medical treatment for children with burns, the initiative has expanded its charitable reach over three decades.

Proceeds from the calendar support various causes, including the protection of injured wildlife, pet adoption programs, financial aid for volunteer firefighters who lost homes in bushfires, and international disaster relief. To date, the project has donated more than 3.5 million Australian dollars to these efforts.

The 2027 lineup includes several themes: ‘Dogs and Firefighters’, ‘Cats and Firefighters’, ‘Horses and Firefighters’, ‘Various Animals and Firefighters’, and a ‘Hero’ version featuring only firefighters. Additionally, new animal-only versions for cats, dogs, and various animals are available, alongside merchandise such as pillowcases. The organizers have announced that this year represents their largest global expansion to date, with support extending to animal welfare organizations in Europe and Asia.
