Australian Football Broadcasters Expand Live Coverage for 2026 AFLW, VFL and VFLW Seasons

Fox Footy and Kayo SPORTS, part of DAZN Australia, will broadcast every 2026 AFLW match live, including all finals and the Grand Final, with an all‑star commentary team that features former players Lauren Arnell, Chelsea Randall and Emma Kearney among nearly 90 women across the network. The partnership marks a milestone for women’s sport broadcasting in Australia, with at least 25 women appearing in on‑air roles for AFL and AFLW coverage.

The 2026 VFL and VFLW state‑league seasons will also be streamed live and free via AFL.com.au and the AFL Live App. Expanded broadcast partners include Kayo SPORTS, ABC, the Seven Network and SEN. The VFL season runs 21 rounds, with the Grand Final scheduled for the weekend of 19‑20 September, while the VFLW competition runs concurrently and will feature live coverage of the Marsh AFL National Championships for under‑18 players.

Both initiatives aim to increase exposure for players and clubs, offering national audiences comprehensive access to Australia’s premier football competitions throughout the 2026 season.
