Australian gold explorers report significant drilling and survey milestones

Two Australian mining companies have announced major progress in their respective gold exploration projects.

WA Gold Limited has completed a high-resolution Sub-Audio Magnetic (SAM) geophysical survey at its Bullabulling Project in Western Australia. The survey identified nine magnetometric conductivity anomalies spanning over 4km in aggregate strike length. These anomalies are located along the Bullabulling Shear Zone and a prospective ultramafic contact zone, coinciding with previous gold detection in reconnaissance drilling. The company intends to use this data to prioritize targets for an upcoming reverse circulation drilling program.

Marmota has concluded a 32,085-metre reverse circulation drilling campaign at its Greenewood and Mainwood discoveries within South Australia’s Gawler Craton. The drilling program, which included 337 holes, successfully extended the strike distance of gold mineralization to more than two kilometers across the two adjacent prospects. Assay results from this campaign are expected as early as next week.
