Australian Grape & Wine CEO Lee McLean to depart in September

Lee McLean has announced his resignation as CEO of Australian Grape & Wine (AGW), effective at the end of September. McLean has been with the organization for eight years, serving the last four as CEO.

AGW Chair Helen Strachan praised McLean’s leadership, noting he guided the industry through one of its most tumultuous periods in generations. She credited him with strengthening industry cohesion and building constructive partnerships with the government.

The AGW Board will begin the process of appointing a new CEO in the coming days, with immediate efforts focused on establishing interim leadership arrangements.
