Australian miners High-Tech Metals and Terrain Minerals report promising drill results

High-Tech Metals (ASX:HTM) received final assay results from a 41‑hole reverse‑circulation drilling program at its 100%‑owned Mt Fisher Gold Project in Western Australia. The program intersected the targeted mineralised horizon throughout the existing resource area and into the northern extension, confirming continuity of the main structure. Notable intersections include 12 m @ 2.30 g/t Au from 171 m (including 5 m @ 4.95 g/t), 13 m @ 1.54 g/t Au from 192 m (including 5 m @ 3.38 g/t) and 2 m @ 5.49 g/t Au from 181 m. CEO James Merrillees said the results clarify where the next drilling will focus and support the view that mineralisation remains open at depth. An updated geological model and mineral resource estimate are expected in August, with phase‑two drilling slated for mid‑August.

Terrain Minerals Limited (ASX:TMX) released its quarterly activities report highlighting high‑grade gold intercepts at the Lightning prospect of its Smokebush Gold & Silver Project, such as 8 m @ 6.87 g/t Au from 76 m and 7 m @ 7.08 g/t Au from 217 m. First‑pass drilling at the Wildflower area also confirmed gold‑silver mineralisation. The company aims to deliver a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for Lightning by July 2026. Additional progress includes a broad REE system at the Lort River project (8 m @ 3,349 ppm TREO) and a large gold‑pathfinder anomaly at the Carlindie Lithium/Gold Project. Terrain Minerals completed a A$1.5 million share placement, bringing cash and cash equivalents to A$1.391 million.
