Australian mining conferences to address industry growth and volatility
The Australian mining sector is preparing for major industry gatherings focused on operational excellence and technological adaptation. The International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) is scheduled to take place in Sydney from October 27-29, serving as the centerpiece of Australia’s International Mining Week. The event aims to address industry challenges such as supply constraints, rising costs, and market volatility.
IMARC is expected to host over 500 speakers and attendees from more than 120 countries, including government representatives from over 50 nations. Discussions will center on innovation, project delivery, and investment strategies in a capital-constrained environment.
Additionally, the 17th AusIMM Mill Operators Conference will focus on the mineral processing sector. The conference aims to help specialists improve plant performance and embrace new technologies through a program emphasizing metallurgical control, maintenance practices, and ESG initiatives. The event utilizes a single-session format to ensure all delegates can access technical presentations and workshops.
