Australian U16 Women's Water Polo at World Championships in Croatia

Australia’s under‑16 women’s water polo team began its campaign at the World Aquatics Women’s U16 Water Polo Championships in Zagreb, Croatia, which runs from 25 to 31 July. The squad’s pool matches include Ukraine, China, Germany and host nation Croatia.

Coach Harry Sanderson praised the players’ development, resilience and potential, saying the experience will prepare them for international competition. Team members such as Jayde Veverka and Molly Walters expressed pride in wearing the green and gold and aimed to deliver a strong performance, especially in the final pool match against Croatia.
