Vernon man Bryce Inglehart arrested after stolen‑car chase in Coldstream
Bryce Inglehart, a 32‑year‑old resident of Vernon, British Columbia, was arrested on July 28, 2026 after a police officer in Coldstream stopped his stolen vehicle. The driver attempted to flee, put the car in gear, and then physically resisted arrest before being subdued with assistance from a civilian who had flagged down the officer.
Inglehart was charged with possession of stolen property and five counts of failing to comply with a release order. A female passenger in the vehicle was also taken into custody and later released pending further investigation. He appeared in court the following Wednesday, where a judge remanded him into custody until a later date.
