In New South Wales, highway patrol on the Federal Highway between Wollogorang and Lake George halted a driver who was traveling 165 km/h in a 110 km/h zone. A roadside drug test returned positive for cocaine, and a search of the vehicle uncovered 125 g of ketamine, 141.5 g of cocaine, 44.16 g of MDMA, eight vials of steroids, and $24,000 in cash. The 24‑year‑old driver faces multiple drug‑related charges, was denied bail, and had his licence suspended.
