Australian reality show 'Farmer Wants a Wife' returns with new season on June 8

The dating reality series Farmer Wants a Wife will air its new season on Australia’s Seven Network starting Monday, June 8. The show features five farmers – Alex, a 28‑year‑old beef and mushroom grower from Kin Kin, Queensland; Dylan, a 24‑year‑old sheep farmer and rodeo cowboy from Cherry Gardens, South Australia; Jarrad, a 41‑year‑old almond farmer from Taylorville, South Australia; Jason, a 37‑year‑old dairy farmer from Coolabunia, Queensland; and Zac, a 24‑year‑old third‑generation apple farmer from Forest Range, South Australia. Forty women, including hopeful Miranda, have applied to find love on the farms.

Host Natalie Gruzlewski notes that the series has previously produced 11 weddings, 13 long‑term relationships and 28 farm‑born children, attributing its success to the participants’ authenticity. She says the new lineup shows strong connections and expects more “happily ever after” stories this season.
