Australian Survivor: Rivals cast and Malaysia location revealed

Channel 10 has revealed the cast and premise for the 2027 season of ‘Australian Survivor: Rivals’. In a worldwide first for the franchise, the season will feature a 24-player field where contestants are paired against rivals with similar skills, physical attributes, or public profiles.

Participants will compete across two tribes for a $500,000 prize. The season will be filmed in Malaysia, moving away from the traditional Samoa location. Hosted by David Genat, the cast includes a mix of celebrities and everyday citizens, such as AFL players Heath Shaw and Adam Cooney, and rugby stars Adam Ashley-Cooper and Robbie Farah.

Shaw and Cooney, former AFL players, noted the opportunity to settle sporting rivalries and test their competitive limits within the game.
