Australian tourist Sally Grace Contarino missing in Las Vegas after June 20 hike

Twenty‑six‑year‑old Australian tourist Sally Grace Contarino vanished in Las Vegas after sending a Facebook message on June 20 that she was heading to Lone Mountain for a hike. Police say she was last seen around 1 p.m. near the 9700 block of West Sky Canyon Drive, a busy area in northwest Las Vegas, wearing a gray‑blue sweatshirt, jean shorts and black‑white shoes.

Contarino arrived from Melbourne on June 13, stayed at the Bungalows Hostel downtown and was due to return to Australia on June 21, but she never boarded the flight. Investigators have not determined whether she was alone and have warned she may have been in severe emotional distress. An influencer’s video captured her briefly interacting with a man outside a 7‑Eleven days before she disappeared; the clip has been viewed over 800,000 times.

Australian authorities, including Victoria Police, Interpol and the Australian Consulate in Los Angeles, have been involved, and her family has traveled to Las Vegas to aid the search.
