Australian travel industry prepares for major 2026 awards

The 2026 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) have officially sold out. Presented by the Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA), the event saw over 21,000 votes cast across 39 categories. The gala is scheduled for Saturday, 10 October, at Melbourne’s Palladium at Crown, as part of a three-day program including the Beyond Borders Travel Summit and the Viking NTIA Finalist Celebration.

In a separate industry development, entries for the 2026 Women in Travel Awards are nearing their on-time deadline. The awards, which recognize achievements in leadership, marketing, and travel advising within the Australian sector, will be held on 2 December at ivy Sydney. The 2026 program includes new categories such as Travel Advisor of the Year and Unsung Hero.
