Australian trekkers to ride penny-farthings for charity

Three Australian trekkers are planning a 150-kilometre charity ride on penny-farthing bicycles to support the Kokoda Memorial Hospital. The group, consisting of Neil Dawson, Fin Martin, and Andrew Johnson, intends to ride from Leeton to Wagga Wagga in September.

The participants aim to exceed a $5,000 fundraising goal to assist the hospital, which serves approximately 30,000 people annually but faces shortages of essential medicines, basic supplies, and equipment. The initiative is motivated by a desire to support the facility that assisted personnel during World War II.
