Australian universities offer fully funded research scholarships for 2027

Several Australian universities are offering fully funded research scholarships for 2027 to support domestic and international students pursuing higher degrees by research.

The University of Canberra provides scholarships for PhD and Higher Degree by Research programs. Successful candidates may receive a tax-free annual stipend of $36,225 for up to 3.5 years, along with potential tuition fee sponsorship for eligible international students. Applications are due by September 30, 2026.

Similarly, the University of South Australia offers fully funded grants for Master’s and PhD candidates. These scholarships include tuition fee waivers and competitive stipend allowances to assist high-achieving researchers in various academic fields.
