Australia's Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon cleared for Bangladesh Tests

Australia's selection committee announced that fast‑bowler Pat Cummins, pacer Josh Hazlewood and off‑spinner Nathan Lyon have recovered from injuries and are expected to be available for the two‑test series against Bangladesh in August. Chairman George Bailey said there are no final line‑ups yet but the bowlers are “all fit to go” and have “worked extremely hard, individually and with the (fitness) teams, over the past few months to return from their respective injuries.”

The first Test will be played in Darwin from 13 to 17 August, followed by a second in Mackay from 22 to 26 August. The 13‑man squad also includes pace bowler Scott Boland and all‑rounders Cameron Green and Beau Webster, with opening batsman Jake Weatherald retained and likely to open alongside Travis Head.
