Austria hosts various seasonal culinary and gastronomy events

Austria is hosting several culinary events and initiatives focused on seasonal gastronomy and regional specialties. From October 19 to 25, 2026, a Gastronomy Enjoyment Week will take place across Vienna, Lower Austria, and Burgenland, featuring 70 participating restaurants offering autumn-themed menus.

In Vienna, the GENUSSWELTEN event will be held at Palais Auersperg from October 16 to 18. Celebrating its fifth anniversary, the event brings together producers and manufacturers from Austria and neighboring countries to showcase specialty items such as matcha, caviar, and champagne through tastings and direct sales.

Additionally, the third edition of the “MOMENTS OF TASTE 2027” book has been released. This guide features 104 selected restaurants, hotels, and wineries across Austria, offering a “2-for-1” voucher system where guests can enjoy a menu for the price of one. The collection includes both established names and new additions, such as Taubenkobel in Burgenland and ARTIS in Graz.
