Austria hosts workshops on accessibility and social inclusion

A series of specialized workshops in Austria focuses on fostering inclusion, accessibility, and empathy through practical training and immersive technology.

The Inklusionswerkstatt series offers sessions on strategic accessibility to address demographic shifts and digital transformation, as well as specific training for inclusive customer service and complaint management to reduce communication barriers.

Other educational programs include SimuDementia®, which utilizes Virtual Reality technology developed with Hochschule Burgenland to help caregivers and relatives understand the sensory experiences of dementia patients. Additionally, workshops on mental health aim to increase empathy and reduce prejudice by using interactive exercises to simulate the lived experience of psychological illnesses.
