Austria and Canada qualify for Davis Cup Finals

Several nations have secured qualification for the 2026 Davis Cup Finals in Bologna. Austria has officially advanced to the Final 8 after defeating Belgium 3-1 in Vienna. The victory was bolstered by a doubles win from the new pairing of Lucas Miedler and Neil Oberleitner, followed by Jurij Rodionov’s decisive singles victory over Zizou Bergs.

Canada has also qualified for the finals after defeating France 3-1 in Quebec City. Despite losing the doubles match, Felix Auger-Aliassime secured Canada's spot with a comeback victory against Arthur Rinderknech.

In other qualifying action, Germany and Croatia remain tied at 1-1 following the first day of their matchup. Alexander Zverev secured a win for Germany against Matej Dodig, while Dino Prizmic leveled the score for Croatia by defeating Yannick Hanfmann.
