Austria secures gymnastics titles at international competition in Vienna

In a recent international gymnastics competition held in Vienna, the Austrian women's team secured a victory, marking Vienna's first title in 26 years. Gymnast Bianca Frysak highlighted the team's cohesion, noting that despite minor errors on the uneven bars, strong performances on the balance beam helped secure the win.

In the men's competition, Wachter from Vorarlberg delivered a strong performance, achieving top scores on the rings, vault, and horizontal bar. His results serve as preparation for the upcoming Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Senegal. The Austrian men's team finished in fourth place overall, following Italy, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

Sports Director Fabian Leimlehner noted that hosting the event in Vienna against top European nations is a significant milestone for the development of Austrian youth gymnastics.
