Disability support services and inclusion initiatives expand in Austria

Various social service organizations in Austria are expanding their support for people with disabilities through new employment opportunities and community events.

Lebenshilfe Vorarlberg is organizing its 29th and 26th hourly runs in Dornbirn and Lustenau this September. These events aim to promote solidarity and inclusion by bringing people with and without disabilities together. Participants can secure sponsorships to raise funds for regional disability support.

In the employment sector, several organizations are recruiting for essential roles. Assistenz24 is seeking personal assistants in Himberg and Niederhollabrunn to provide daily living support, including household tasks and mobility assistance. Lebenshilfe Tirol is looking for assistants to help individuals live independently in Imst, while HABIT – Haus der Barmherzigkeit is hiring for household and economic assistance roles in Vienna to support residents in specialized care settings.
