Austria U21 draws 1-1 with Denmark in Euro qualifying

The Austria U21 national football team drew 1-1 against Denmark in a crucial Euro 2027 qualifying match held at the Wiener Sport-Club stadium. Conrad Harder put Denmark ahead in the 50th minute, but Erik Kojzek equalized for Austria in the 69th minute.

The result leaves Austria in third place in Group I with 11 points after seven matches. Denmark sits in second place with 14 points. Due to a nine-goal difference in favor of Denmark, Austria's chances of qualifying for the tournament in Albania and Serbia are slim.

To secure second place, Austria must win their final match against Wales on October 6, 2026, while simultaneously hoping for a significant loss by Denmark in their match against group leaders Belgium.
