Austria Wien, Inter, and Juventus qualify for Women's Champions League
Several European women's football clubs have secured qualification for the UEFA Women's Champions League league phase.
Austria Wien achieved a historic milestone by qualifying for the first time after a 4-0 victory against SK Brann Bergen, fueled by a hat-trick from Modesta Uka.
In Italy, Inter Milan secured their first-ever appearance in the league phase following a dramatic comeback against Wolfsburg. After trailing 2-0 in the first leg, Inter leveled the aggregate score during regulation and eventually won 5-4 on penalties. Juventus also qualified after a 1-1 draw against St. Pölten, following a dominant 3-0 first-leg win. These results mean Italy will have three representatives—Inter, Juventus, and Roma—in the competition's league phase.
Roma, who had already secured direct access following their previous league title, is also preparing for European competition, recently announcing dedicated season tickets for their women's team.
