Austria Wien women reach CL final after 3-2 win over Hajduk Split

Austria Wien's women's team beat Croatian champions Hajduk Split 3-2 in the mini‑tournament of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Women's Champions League. The match was played in Radenci, Slovenia on 5 August 2026 under coach Stefan Kenesei.

Patricia Pfanner opened the scoring just 11 seconds after kickoff, assisted by Modesta Uka, and later added a second goal. A missed pass by Katharina Schiechtl led to a Hajduk Split reply, but Austria held on for the victory. The win puts Austria Wien into the final of the mini‑tournament, where they will meet either NS Mura (host) or Farul Constanta (Romania) for a place in the third qualifying round.

The result secures Austria's progression toward the later stages of the women's Champions League, marking a key step for the Austrian double‑champions.
