Austriacard Holdings AG reports 14% revenue growth in H1 2026
Austriacard Holdings AG reported a 14% increase in H1 2026 revenue, reaching €186.6 million. Growth was primarily driven by its Digital Technologies and Identity & Payment solutions, with the second quarter showing a 20% year-over-year revenue increase.
The Digital Technologies segment saw a 93% increase compared to H1 2025, largely due to large-scale public sector digitization projects in Greece, which contributed approximately €14 million in additional revenue. The Identity & Payment segment grew by 13%, supported by fintech clients in the WEST region and citizen authentication solutions in the MEA region.
EBITDA rose 10% to €19.4 million. However, the EBITDA margin contracted by 40 basis points to 10.4%. This compression was attributed to higher outsourcing costs for Greek digitization projects, margin pressure in Document Lifecycle Management in Romania, and extraordinary expenses related to a legacy management participation program and the ongoing takeover offer from DNP.
Regarding the takeover, 55% of Austriacard shareholders have accepted DNP’s offer. The proposal remains subject to approval from Austrian foreign direct investment (FDI) authorities before it becomes unconditionally binding.
