Austriacard Holdings donates Agentic AI system to University of Piraeus

Austriacard Holdings has donated a GaiaB™ Tiny Appliance, an integrated Agentic AI system, to the University of Piraeus. The equipment is designated for use by the National Cybersecurity Team and the postgraduate program in ‘Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Technologies’ within the Department of Digital Systems.

The system will support educational and research activities, allowing the National Cybersecurity Team to train on modern computing infrastructures and participate in international cybersecurity competitions. Additionally, students and researchers will use the platform to develop new applications and experiment with both the use of AI in cybersecurity and the security of AI systems themselves.

Developed in collaboration with Dell Technologies, the GaiaB™ Appliance combines the GaiaB™ software platform with pre-configured hardware. Designed as a scalable solution for sovereign enterprise AI, it aims to eliminate unpredictable token-based costs and mitigate risks associated with transferring sensitive data, intellectual property, and internal processes to the public cloud.
