Austrian Association for Electrical Engineering extends innovation award deadline

The Austrian Association for Electrical Engineering (OVE) has extended the submission deadline for the OVE Innovation Award to September 21, 2026. Now in its fifth year, the award recognizes innovations that provide clear societal benefits.

Eligible participants include startups, companies, research institutions, and individuals within the fields of electrical engineering, information technology, and the energy industry. Submissions can range from research results and technical prototypes to market-ready inventions.

A professional jury comprising representatives from industry, science, research, and standardization will evaluate the projects. The winning project will receive a prize of 2,500 euros and will be presented to a specialized audience during the OVE Innovation Day on November 11, 2026.
